I am an OUT of network provider! I will submit claims to a number of health insurance companies including, but not limited to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and United.  While you do have to meet your deductible first, many plans do cover acupuncture out of network!

Ask your Insurance the following questions:

1. Whether you have acupuncture coverage, and whether you qualify for full or partial coverage

2. What your out of network deductible will be, and how much of it you've met thus far

3. Whether you have any co-pay or co-insurance payments required

4. How many visits per year your insurance allows

I have Medicaid/Medicare.  Is acupuncture covered?

While some secondary Medicare plans do cover acupuncture, the general answer to this questions is no, unfortunately not.  Sorry!
